Tristar, a subsidiary of Agility Public Warehouse Company, has signed a $24 million four-year deal with BP.

The contract will cover liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping services, according to a posting on Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

“The above revenue will be reflected on the company’s financials as and when the job is performed,” Agility said in a statement to DFM.

Earlier this year, Agility, which has a 65.12 percent stake in Tristar, reported a 30.5 percent increase in profits for the third quarter.

Profits hit KWD3.21 million ($10.6m) in Q3, compared to KWD2.46m ($8.13m) for the same period in 2018.

Agility also achieved profits of KWD 7.44m ($24.5m) in the first nine months of 2019, according to the company’s statement to Boursa Kuwait, where it is also listed.
