The new initiative is also in line with the objectives of the Dubai Traffic Strategy 2021, aiming to reduce road fatalities, the UAE Energy Strategy 2050’s aim of reducing Dubai’s carbon emissions by 16 percent by 2021 and the goal of Dubai having the world’s lowest carbon footprint.
“His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is the greatest inspiration for us in promoting the use of bicycles and the integration of cycling into people’s lifestyles.
