kristalina-tsachevaBulgaria should establish the priority projects and present them to the investment committee, which aims to open over 1.3 million job positions in Europe, stated European Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva at a meeting with Parliament speaker Tsetska Tsacheva.

Georgieva went on to say that Bulgaria could implement an energy efficiency program by 2015 if more of our banks became involved in this project, BNR reported. Georgieva was adamant that this program could invigorate the economy.

“There would be more work for small construction companies. The employment rate would rise. Household bills would drop. Property prices and the standard of living would go up. Hundreds of thousands of urban dwellers live in properties that need repairing. The motivation of European funds is something the government appreciates, as do we in Europe.”
